The Tumaini Foundation is a non-profit movement that aims at addressing mental health and addiction care issues in Uganda and Africa as a whole. Tumaini aims to raise awareness, fight stigma and improve access to health care services for mental health.

THE MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS
According to the World Health Organization, One in four people will suffer from a mental health or neurological disorder at some point in their lives. That means 450 million people worldwide are living with a mental health disorder.
